Drew has been a CPA since 2007 and has been with PwC for about a year and a half now. For those of you who know Drew, you know that moving abroad is a dream that he has been chasing for quite some time. I am very happy to say that he has finally achieved that dream and I feel so blessed to get to share in this experience with him. He has worked so hard to get to this point and his company must recognize good talent when they see it because he deserves this more than anyone I know!
Having said that, Drew's first day of work at PwC New Zealand will be August 13th so we will be heading out sometime at the end of July. They'll give us about two weeks to get settled and stay in a hotel while we look for our home away from home. After that, Drew will be learning all the ins and outs of international accounting standards while I step outside of my comfort zone to meet lots of new people and try lots of new things!
In the mean time, we'll be doing a lot of reading and a lot of research...and hopefully hearing lots of great stories form people who have been to New Zealand before!
