In the midst of all of our packing and paperwork here, we just found out this past week where we'll be living for the first two weeks we're in Auckland! Drew's company puts us up in a hotel for up to two weeks so we have time to look for a more permanent residence. We will be staying in a place called the Chifley Apartments which are more like executive apartments than a hotel room, so we'll have lots of space and nice amenities while we get used to our new surroundings.
We've emailed the property management company to see if we can snag any sort of good deal on a long-term stay here since the place looks so nice and homey! If not, we'll be searching like crazy once we arrive in Auckland. More on that later!
