Maiden Voyage

For my maiden voyage behind the wheel, Drew and I headed up to Mt. Eden. It was just a short 15-minute terror ride outside of downtown Auckland...just kidding...it wasn't really that bad! I'm sure Drew would beg to differ, but we made it there and back safe and sound so we'll consider it a success!

Mt. Eden might be one of the prettiest places we've been so far--and it's free, so you know it's Drew's favorite place to go :) But seriously, it's a giant volcanic crater that you can walk around and it has spectacular views of Auckland and all of the surrounding areas.

This will definitely be one of the first things on the itinerary for all of you who come to visit!
